MARK RYBERG
Mark began his career in the U.S. Navy, graduating from the Navy Nuclear Power School and gaining extensive experience in nuclear operations and technical roles. This strong foundation led to a 38-year career in the utility industry, with a focus on Corrective Action Programs (CAP), causal analysis, human performance, and operations.
Mark spent 27 years at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station with Arizona Public Service (APS), working in the Operations and Performance Improvement departments. There, he honed his expertise in human performance principles and CAP processes, coaching frontline personnel on error prevention tools and addressing critical safety and compliance issues.
Since joining WD Associates in 2013, Mark has provided consulting and support in CAP implementation and Cause Evaluation to numerous utilities and organizations. His deep knowledge of CAP, causal analysis, and human performance has been instrumental in driving safety and operational improvements for our clients.
